i'm so hungry

The long awaited Hotpot date finally arrived.
A tradition, 2 years in the making.
Actually, we were supposed to have this get-together some time during June, but it never ended up happening because everyone was so busy.

After a year, it was really nice to finally catch up with the chinese school buddies.

I chose the best seat in the house,

close to the food, right where the steam could burn you.

this was new.
last time we were here there was no marshmallows and a chocolate fondue fountain. :D

oh and not to forget the chicken.
pfft. who goes to a hotpot restaurant to eat hotpot anyway?
everyone knows you go for the amazing chicken.
izzy kept loading up plates of chicken for everyone. i'm sure we ate at least 30 as a collective.

dislike: we found out they didn't serve the pudding anymore...
like: That didn't stop us from making our epic tower of shotglasses again. :D

Tuesday 29th November.
Weather:
Cloudy. Hot and windy, with a cool change in the afternoon.
Top of 33 degrees and a low of 18.

So our original plan to go to the beach and get tan lines we foiled thanks to the phenomenon called 'melbourne weather.'
Instead, we relived our childhood memories and whipped out the old PS1 and the Wii at my place had a little gaming sesh... with the people who were still present in the country.

this game was disgusting. you had to pull the worms out of the rabbids rotting teeth.
miss a worm three times. you die.

This was a game of survival. You had to prevent the rabbids from reaching the drinks bar by filling up their masks with carrot juice.
